"I'm LOVIN' this cookie".....

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!! Isn't it adorable???
I found this on Martha Stewart, as I was searching for a new cookie recipe:)
I would love to try and make these for a good friend of mine---she needs & would LOVE a good laugh. But, I honestly don't think I could ever get the icing to work out, because I have "shaky" hands, and I'm very nervous about how they would turn out. Someone might think I have Parkinson's (which my GrannyMa honestly has).
Oh well, just thought I'd share this cute cookie with all of you. Whoever did this, was VERY TALENTED:)

"MAKING WHOOPIE".....Whoopie Pies that is!!!

What is a "Whoopie Pie" you ask???
A whoopie pie is a baked confection made of two puffy mound-shaped pieces of chocolate cake, with cream frosting in the middle.
They are half-cake, half-cookie, that are soft, moist, and "DELISH-EE-OSO":)

I have been wanting to try this recipe for some time now and finally tried it out yesterday. OMGosh---I'm so glad I did, these are my new favorite thing to make.

This recipe is "RED VELVET" Whoopie Pies with "CREAM CHEESE FROSTING", but there are so many different varieties that you can make. Can't wait to make another batch, maybe I'll do "CHOCOLATE" Whoopies with "CHOCOLATE" frosting?????

"I'm LOVIN' this letter".....

.....yep I painted my metal letter again-this makes like the ??? time I've painted it! This time it took a little cleaning up, since the birds had started trying to make a nest behind the wreath it was attached to at Christmas. Oh well, "IT'S NOTHING A LITTLE ELBOW GREASE CAN'T FIX" and besides, "IT WON'T KILL ME!"
I found this adorable heart tinsel wreath at BIGLOTS, and decided to paint it white, and accent with metalic red and pink polka-dots! I think it turned out quite cute once again---Don't you???

"The NEWPORT Men LOVE yellow".....

I hope he enjoyed:) Thanks TabMarie:)

I couldn't take cookies to Turner's, without bringing

"SWAMP CRACKERS" are great for chompin'......

My sissy, Alison, called me the other night, and said "You've got to try this recipe---it's so easy, and only takes 4 ingredients!" Alison said she had already made it several times over the holidays and it's great for snacking while watching the
ballgames! She got the recipe from my Uncle Danny & Aunt Bubbles when she was in Chattanooga a couple of weeks ago.
At first, I admit I was a little hesitant, but wanted to try it out---glad I did, between me and Terry, I honestly don't know who will "flounder" out first??? hahaheehee

Here's the recipe:

2 boxes of Mini's Premium crackers OR 1 box(4sleeves)
1 1/2 cups Canola oil (has to be Canola, because of the consistency)
1 pk. Hidden Valley Ranch Salad Dressing Mix (DO NOT USE DIP MIX--WILL NOT TASTE THE SAME!)
2 tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes (more or less depending on your "buds")

Mix the oil, Hidden Valley Ranch mix, and crushed pepper in a medium bowl. Pour the crackers into a tall plastic container and pour the mixture on top of the crackers. (**The key to this recipe is the container you put the stuff in. It needs to be a tall, plastic container with a lid, rather than a flat one---because it is easier to flip and not crush the crackers!)
Flip the container every 30 minutes for 4 hours and enjoy:)
This stuff is a great, easy snack and will have you lickin' your fingers.....and running back for more:)
ENJOY:)
