"SWAMP CRACKERS" are great for chompin'......

My sissy, Alison, called me the other night, and said "You've got to try this recipe---it's so easy, and only takes 4 ingredients!" Alison said she had already made it several times over the holidays and it's great for snacking while watching the
ballgames! She got the recipe from my Uncle Danny & Aunt Bubbles when she was in Chattanooga a couple of weeks ago.
At first, I admit I was a little hesitant, but wanted to try it out---glad I did, between me and Terry, I honestly don't know who will "flounder" out first??? hahaheehee

Here's the recipe:

2 boxes of Mini's Premium crackers OR 1 box(4sleeves)
1 1/2 cups Canola oil (has to be Canola, because of the consistency)
1 pk. Hidden Valley Ranch Salad Dressing Mix (DO NOT USE DIP MIX--WILL NOT TASTE THE SAME!)
2 tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes (more or less depending on your "buds")

Mix the oil, Hidden Valley Ranch mix, and crushed pepper in a medium bowl. Pour the crackers into a tall plastic container and pour the mixture on top of the crackers. (**The key to this recipe is the container you put the stuff in. It needs to be a tall, plastic container with a lid, rather than a flat one---because it is easier to flip and not crush the crackers!)
Flip the container every 30 minutes for 4 hours and enjoy:)
This stuff is a great, easy snack and will have you lickin' your fingers.....and running back for more:)
ENJOY:)
