One of the "
coolest" guys in town, Mr. Brad McGregor, asked me to help make his pal, Mark Morton, some OVER THE HILL cupcakes & cookies for his 40th birthday party. I told Brad I hated using black icing, because it tends to "bleed" into the cupcakes, which in turn, makes them look bad. So I thought of "CHROME" icing, since after 40, you start getting a little "chrome" color to your hair line:) And since Mark has always had a fond love of motorcycles, I made these little picks from some clip art, and hot glued them to toothpicks. I used sparkling silver sugar, and accented with red sanding sugar, and I think they turned out quite adorable:)
